    More Plymouth info

We are so excited about the plans for the McKenzie International Travel Club Rally.  We have contracted with Far Horizons 49er Village in Plymouth, CA.  They are very happy to accommodate our Rally which includes their dining hall accommodating 175, BBQs to prepare our first dinner, two swimming pools, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, billiards, a deli, and plenty of space to walk with friends or ride a bike. There is a well-maintained laundromat, clean restrooms/showers, and library.  The sites have full hook-ups, grass and trees for shade.

There is a lot to do in the surrounding areas, located in the Sierra Foothills of Amador County! There are more than 35 award-winning wineries.  For those interested in more than drinking wine the  Amador Flower Farm in the Shenandoah Valley is less than 10 minutes away. Amador Countyis a wonderful place to visit for a close-up look into California's historic gold era in the towns: Fiddletown, Plymouth, Dry Town, Amador City, Sutter Creekand Jackson. You can even visit a working gold mine or go for a below ground tour in Sutter Creek.  There are tours of caves, Placerville, casinos (yes, two) nearby and a great golf club only 20 minutes away.

The Invitation letter and Registration Form are being sent out the second week in January. We have to fill a minimum of 60 sites. Please help our Club by inviting any RVing friends to join you at the Rally.

There was a major change in the By-Laws last year whereby a former McKenzie towable member may rejoin the Club at the member fee of $30.  SOB’s (Some Other Brands) are more than welcome to attend our Rally.  The difference is, the member will pay $250 and the SOB $300 when registering for the Rally.  These fee includes three breakfasts, four dinners, drink tickets and the site – WHAT A DEAL.!

We are looking for a few vendors.  If you know of any and/or have names/phone number we would appreciate your sharing them with us.  Phone: 707-252-3630, Address: 3600 Parrett Avenue, Napa, CA 94558 or Email: caiocca@sbcglobal.net.
